Wayward Notions is a creative workshop business run by two sisters with a serious appreciation for crafts, secondhand treasures, and seeing what happens when you give a pair of scissors to someone with an idea.

We host hands-on workshops where you can learn different crafts, experiment with materials, and make something of your own. We love using reclaimed, repurposed, and secondhand materials whenever we can—because perfectly good stuff deserves a second chance.

The crafts may change. The materials may change. The level of chaos may vary.

The goal is always the same: make something, have some fun, and leave with a little more creativity than you came with.

Absolutely not. In fact, if you consider yourself not crafty, you might be exactly our kind of person. 😂

You don’t need experience, artistic talent, or even a clue what you’re doing. That’s what the workshop is for! We’ll walk you through the project, provide the materials, and help you along the way.

Our workshops are about trying something new, having fun, and making something that’s yours—not creating Pinterest perfection.

Will your project look exactly like the example? Maybe. Maybe not. And honestly? We kind of prefer it that way.

So come as you are, grab some supplies, and see what happens. There are no crafting degrees required, and we promise not to judge your scissor skills. ✂️

Your ticket includes all the supplies and materials needed for the project, plus hands-on instruction and assistance from us along the way. We’ll walk you through the project, show you what to do, and be there to help if your craft decides to take an unexpected turn. 😂

You just need to show up, get comfortable, and be ready to make something. We’ll handle the supplies, the instructions, and the inevitable “Wait… am I doing this right?” moments.

And because we love a good craft space, we love partnering with local venues that make our workshops even more fun. 🍻🍔 Some of our workshops will be hosted at breweries, restaurants, and other awesome spots, and we encourage you to grab a drink, order some food, and enjoy what the venue has to offer while you create. Supporting the places that host us helps us continue building those partnerships and bringing more crafty fun your way. ✨

So basically, we bring the craft supplies. You bring yourself, your creativity, and maybe an appetite. 😉

We’ll provide the supplies and materials needed for your workshop, so you don’t need to show up with a craft store in your trunk.

Depending on the venue and the event,there will be drinks or snacks available for purchase. We’ll include those details with the event information when applicable.

We’re generally crafting in the evenings and on weekends, with new workshops popping up regularly.
