We’re Desi and Cierra—two sisters with a serious love for making things, finding hidden treasures, and turning the unexpected into something new. ✨

We started Wayward Notions because we wanted to bring three things we love together: creating 🎨, reducing waste ♻️, and connecting with people 🤝.

We believe good materials deserve more than one life. We love rescuing forgotten fabrics, secondhand finds, and leftover materials and reimagining them into something beautiful, useful, and completely one-of-a-kind. 🪡 There’s something pretty special about seeing the potential in something that might otherwise be tossed aside. 🌱

But the best part of crafting? Doing it together. 💕

We love the conversations, the creative sparks, the happy accidents, and the inevitable glue-gun mishaps. 🔥 Whether we’re hosting a class in someone’s living room, popping up at a local business, or setting up at a farmers market or vendor event, our goal is always the same: make something fun, meet some great people, and keep a little more out of the landfill. 🌎
